Virtual workshop – Stepping up and taking ownership

Following on from the success of their first workshop on how to manage more effectively from the middle, the Health and Care Women Leaders Network is delivering a virtual workshop on Wednesday 6 April, 12-1.30pm.

If you are a manager who is stuck in between pressure from your senior leadership and the needs of your team, then join Diana Marsland and Julie Nerney to discuss tools and techniques on taking ownership and handling difficult conversations. The session will provide you with practical tools and opportunities for peer to peer learning and sharing.

Diana Marsland MA, BA (Hons), FHEA, FCIM

Diana is a coach, mentor, researcher and conference speaker focused on helping people to find their way in the changing world of work. Her varied career has encompassed culture transformation, marketing, and lecturing in leadership and management. She has worked in organisations as diverse as Halifax plc, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Fidelity Investments and the NHS. She is co-author of Own Your Day

Julie Nerney, MBA, Chartered Director (CDir), Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIoD)

Julie started out as an accidental serial entrepreneur, starting, running and selling 14 businesses in the UK and overseas. She has had a successful interim career as a business transformation leader, spanning the private, public and not for profit sectors. She has held executive and CEO positions and is also guest lecturer at Oxford Said Business School, public speaker, and co-author of Own Your Day.
