Housing and Health - Making The Connection
Everyone seems to agree that we need to integrate health, social care and housing- but how? This free conference includes presentations by housing and health professionals, examples of best practice- and a chance to link up with health and housing professionals. Speakers include Domini Gunn, Director of Health and Well Being at the Chartered Institute of Housing, and Kate Simpson, who will outline innovative work to improve the health of Family Mosaic’s residents.
This event is being organised by the School of Social Professions. The Chartered Institute of Housing has recently validated a range of social policy, health and community development courses, recognising our work in integrating the teaching of health with the wider aspects of health and well being.
