This breakfast session tackles the critical topic of Health and Safety law post-election. It will provide an overview of the serious consequences for organisations and individuals who fail to comply with Health and Safety legislation, as well as the actual and reputational costs of getting it wrong.
John Mitchell is a Partner in Blake Morgan's Regulatory practice group. He specialises in risk and compliance, advising and defending businesses in areas of commercial activity where criminal law or penal sanctions are used to regulate business. John's particular focus is on the law relating to the environment, health and safety, food and consumer protection. His clients are mainly in the leisure, retail, food, water and marine sectors. He also acts for a number of port and fishery authorities.
