The TUC Certificate in health and safety reps stage 1 course is aimed at new Health and Safety Reps that have being recently elected or appointed.

Health and safety at work is always a major issue for all employees. Work places that have trade union health and safety reps have a significantly lower rate of accidents.

If you are a newly appointed safety rep, this is the course for you.

On this course you will learn:

· About what it means to be a union health and safety representative

· The rights and roles of the union health and safety representative

· The importance of organising your workplace

· How to best deal with health and safety issues are work

You will learn this in an environment that is friendly and with union representatives from other union.
