Join us for the next Health & Wellbeing Board Engagement Group meeting
The Health & Wellbeing Board VCS Engagement Group meeting will be on Tuesday 9th September at 2pm ahead of the next Health & Wellbeing Board meeting. Please come along to this meeting to support by providing any feedback you may have on the Board’s agenda items.
There are some planned changes to the running of the next Health & Wellbeing Board, with the intention to make it less report driven and a bit more of a discussion.
With this in mind, we thought it might be a good opportunity to run the HWB Engagement group (HWBEG) a bit differently too.
So, we will be holding the Engagement Group meeting a couple of weeks earlier, not waiting for the papers to be published. And we will focus on having a conversation around the main agenda items, for which there will be some briefing notes that will be shared ahead of the meeting.
The September HWBEG will also have a thematic focus on ‘Age Well’ mirroring the thematic focus of the main Health & Wellbeing Board later in the month.
We do hope this will make for a better experience and need to read over a lengthy board papers in a very short time frame. We would also like to remind you the Health & Wellbeing board is held in public, and you can observe the meeting in person or by joining online.
