About this event

Over the past year, we have been working on a CPAR (Community Participatory Action Research) project funded by the NHS, focusing on Health Inequalities in our community. We are pleased to invite you to a community event where we will be sharing the outcomes of this research.

Location: Spark Community Space

Date: Thursday, 6th November

Time: 3:00–7:00 PM

There will be three presentations, one from each group, each repeated during two time slots:

Session 1: 3:00–5:00 PM

Session 2: 5:00–7:00 PM

You are welcome to attend either session, listen to the findings, and engage in conversations about what the Portsmouth community has voiced regarding their experiences with health inequality.

Presentations will include:

Spark Community Space

Examining the Alienation of Older Adults due to Increasing Digitalisation and the Challenges in Accessing Personalised Healthcare”

A short film featuring participants from our community space.

Portsmouth Mediation Service

Work Better Innovation

The participants from each groups research project will also be in attendance, so it will be a brilliant opportunity to get feedback from Portsmouth residents, and also champion community lead research in our island city.

We hope you can join us in learning from and with the community, and in continuing the conversation to create a more inclusive and multidisciplinary healthcare system across Portsmouth.
