About this event

More than 20,000 extra cancer cases each year can be attributed to deprivation and survival rates are lowest for the people most deprived. And people from minority ethnic communities’ experience of diagnosis and treatment is poorer than white people. This impact of health inequalities can be seen in the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancers - cervical, ovarian, endometrial, vulval and vaginal.
As a nurse, it can be difficult to see what you can do in your role to make sure patients have equal access to care. This interactive and practical webinar will give you the information you need to spot the signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancers.
Nurse experts will share the latest data on how health inequalities affect the diagnosis, treatment and survival of people with gynaecological cancers. Be inspired by innovative nursing approaches tackling barriers to equal care and discover tips and strategies that you can apply to your own practice to improve access to the best care for everyone.
Plus: all your clinical and practice questions answered by our nurse specialists.
