Event description
We’ll be focusing on the topic of antibiotic resistance, one of the biggest threats to health.

About this Event

It is estimated that antibiotic resistant superbugs will kill more than cancer by 2050.

This event will provide an overview of the status of antibiotic resistance on a local, national and global scale, some of the solutions being explored both within the NHS and beyond, and some of the ways in which you can help yourself and be part of the solution.

Health Matters events are free talks hosted by consultants or senior managers on specialist areas of health, or on issues affecting University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. They are an opportunity for Foundation Trust members and members of the public to meet Trust staff, ask questions and give feedback. Doors open 30 minutes before the event for refreshments.
