Grimsby is becoming a Recovery Town and North East Lincolnshire a Marmot Place – but what does this really mean for our communities, and how can you get involved?
At our first Health Network event, we’ll explore these initiatives and the positive changes they bring for local people.
- Recovery Towns help communities heal and thrive – improving mental health, tackling inequalities, and creating places where everyone can flourish.
- Marmot Places commit to reducing health inequalities by focusing on the wider factors that shape health: housing, education, work, and community.
We’ll be joined by Sarah and Mike from Public Health, alongside the Recovery Community, who will share insights on what these changes mean for North East Lincolnshire and the work already underway.
📅 Date: Tuesday 21st October🕙 Time: 10:00am – 12:00 noon📍 Venue: Black Gull Café, Auckland Road, Grimsby
A light lunch will be provided after the session – a chance to connect with colleagues, community members, and partners.
Be part of shaping a healthier, fairer future for North East Lincolnshire.
