Health and Social Care practitioners Integrating the needs of carers into care management processes to improve better health outcomes.

About this Event

The conference aims to increases awareness and understanding of the carer community within the UK. Targeted at health and social care professionals including commissioners, GP’s, policy makers , care providers, psychologists , occupational therapists and psychiatrists.

Our objective is to deepen the understanding of the complexity in caring for children and adults with Autism/Learning disabilities , including mental health issues. Our esteemed speakers will share their strategies on how to identify and approach issues around Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Including the importance on why health and social care professionals need to develop greater partnership with family carers to identify carers who are potentially at risk of mental health, as a consequence of their caring role.
