The Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) imposes a general duty on employers and employees to ensure that their workplaces are safe and offer no risk to Health & Safety. Health & Safety training is essential so employers, employees and volunteers understand their duties and responsibilities. This short course is a quick and cost effective way to train employers and employees in the basics of health & safety in the workplace.
This Health & Safety General Awareness course is ideal for all employers, employees and volunteers who need a general overview of the main principles of health & safety in the workplace. It is also suitable for those wishing to learn more about basic health & safety.
The course will be facilitated by Sarah Barrow B.A. (Hon), who has 21 years experience of delivering courses and working within Health & Safety.
