Join us on 21st September to meet and listen to experts who will inspire all of us in the fight against cancer.

Inspirational speakers, refreshments, lunch and full access to therapists and exhibitors
Saturday 21 September - 10am - 4pm
Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow
This one day event will showcase the facilities that Rainbow Valley will have to offer. You will learn about:
- Lifestyle changes to improve your health
- The power of nutrition
- How to cope with side effects of cancer treatment
- How to minimise your risk of cancer
- A holistic approach to your health
- Complementary therapies
Speakers include:
Sean Swarner - international inspirational speaker from Colorado, USA. Sean has twice beaten cancer and gone on to be the first cancer survivor to conquer Mount Everest. Sean has also summited all 7 summits of the world, proving that no challenge is too great, no peak too high. An inspirational speaker, Sean carries a message of healing, hope and triumph for cancer patients worldwide.
Jane Sen: Jane is chef at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre, after a successful career as chef and consultant to various restaurants. She gained her extensive knowledge of the power of nutrients to combat illness from her close collaboration with the Centre's medical staff.
Jessica Richards: Jessica has written the book, The Topic of Cancer. Diagnosed with cancer in 2007, she delivers a humorous approach to cancer. Her book tells of a journey and choices of treatments, and also her commitment to helping others.

2) Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Although this event is not geared towards children, here at Rainbow Valley we are very family friendly. We are more than happy for you to bring your children but you may want to bring things with you to keep them occupied. If children do become disruptive we would have to ask you to take them out so that others can enjoy the speakers..
3) Do I need to print out and bring a ticket to get in?
Yes, please bring your ticket to the event.
4) Will you be selling tickets at the door?
If all tickets sell out prior to the event then there will not be tickets available on the day.
5) Is there parking at the event? If not, is there a nearby facility in which to park?
There is parking in the NCP car park in Oswald Street.
6) Who's participating or who are your sponsors?

7) Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes
8) Are group tickets for sale, or a discounted rate for groups?
The tickets price is already substantially subsidised by the charity and therefore we are unable to offer additional special rates.

11) What is the event / hosting organisation about?
This is a showcase event for Rainbow Valley - an opportunity for us to let you know what you could expect from a Rainbow Valley facility. As well as fabulous international speakers there will also be a plethora of therapists, nutritionists etc.
12) Is my registration ticket transferrable
Yes! - Your ticket would be transferrable for this event date only. If you can't make it along on the day, please do ask someone else to make good use of your ticket.
