Health & welfare inequalities - achieving social justice in social work

Description
We are holding a conference to celebrate World Social Work Day for students and our placement providers. The theme of the conference is social inequalities which often have impacts on people’s health and wellbeing. As a global profession, social work has a key role in tackling inequalities which may arise through housing (for example the Grenfell Tower fire), poverty and family income and the accessibility of social care services.
