We have a great opportunity for candidates who have applied to become a healthcare assistant but were not successful. The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital (SaTH) have partnered with JobCentre Plus (JCP) to promote our Healthcare Assistant jobs.

We are always looking to improve the way we recruit and we know the hardest part about getting a job, especially in the very popular world of healthcare assistant jobs, is the dreaded application form. We have partnered with JCP to offer support to applicants who may have applied in the past and been unsuccessful, or would like more information about how to successfully apply for a job as a Healthcare Assistant at the Trust.

We will be holding a 1.5 hours sessions starting at 10am which will include information about:

What the role entails.
What qualifications do you need to put on your application form, and what you can do if you don’t have that qualification.
What counts as ‘experience’.
What references you can use.
How to write a really great Supporting Information statement.

JCP will be offering support to interested people and will help to make sure the application form is filled fully and correctly, giving you the best opportunity to be invited to an interview. This is a great opportunity to receive a lot of support to aid your application to this role!

Due to the popularity of this event, we will only be allowing one ticket per person – anyone registered for multiple tickets will be reset to a singular ticket. If you know of someone who would be interested in attending, please send them the link and ask them to register for a ticket separately. Due to the capacity in the building, we will be unable to allow walk-ins on the day.
