  • have a recognised role as an educator,

OR

  • you do not have a formally recognised educator role but ARE involved in the education or supervision of others,

you are invited to join two interactive online workshops which will use the HEVA (healthcare educators’ values and activities) framework to enable your everyday work as a healthcare educator to be outlined, evidenced, recognised and celebrated.

Timeframe: (please do not book if you cannot attend all sessions).

  • First online workshop on 22nd July 2020 (approx. six hours with discussion groups, individual self-directed learning activities and regular breaks)
  • Personalised feedback and mentoring session in early September (15-30 min online)

The benefits for you

  • Create a transparent map of your educator work and the evidence to prove it, for you to share with your line-manager
  • Supported preparation for revalidation in respect to your educator roles
  • Opportunity to influence the design of a career progression framework for healthcare educators
  • Opportunity to undertake a short personalised feedback and mentoring session with the HEVA team

Your commitment

  • Engagement with self-directed learning during the workshops
  • Preparation work ahead of the second workshop (maximum 6 hours)
