The Department of Physics at the University of Liverpool invites you to the Healthcare Instrumentation workshop on Tuesday, 24th March 2020.
With the increasing number of elderly people and the rising awareness and pursuit for safe and effective prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of illness and disease, there has been a significant increase in the investment in research and development of healthcare instrumentation in the UK.
The workshop on Healthcare Instrumentation will bring together medical device technology companies, organisations which use and apply such devices in the medical field and academic researchers in Physics, to identify the key research challenges in this area and build partnerships to work together on future funding opportunities.
Why attend?
Open to industry, researchers, clinicians, potential partners and University of Liverpool academic staff, this event will be an opportunity for you to find out more about the Department of Physics and how its research fits within the healthcare instrumentation sector.
For industry and public organisation participants, the benefits of attendance also include the opportunity to:
- Meet potential collaborators, based in the Department of Physics at the University of Liverpool, to solve business challenges through collaborative research and development.
- Access specific research knowledge and support to enable you to prepare joint research proposals and develop new products.
