Improving mechanisms that allow patients throughout the world to access therapies and treatments to realise their best possible health is vital. Healthcare services will play an important role in supporting this aim. Changing pressures on services (as populations grow and age) and the rapid development of new technologies will shape how healthcare is delivered in the future.

The Access to Medicines in Healthcare Workshop will explore the challenges and opportunities for future health from the perspectives of different stakeholders working in this area, and how these topics will specifically influence access. Bringing together experts from industry, biotech, academia, the NHS, insurers, we will discuss the most pressing challenges for accessing medicines and work closely to determine the immediate needs of the community to encourage and facilitate progress.
