Peter Wyman CBE is Chair of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which, depending on one's point of view, is either the Guardian of the Galaxy in guaranteeing quality in the health service or the Embodiment in Chief of what happens when the political imperative of being seen to wield a big stick is wedded to a 1970s approach to inspiring management.
Roy Lilley will be asking the questions and you can soak up the atmosphere in what is certain to be a taught and occassionally strident encounter. Is the CQC fit for purpose? How would Peter have it change and adapt? What is it genuinely here to achieve? How does the CQC respond to the myriad letters received by Roy every week regarding the CQC that reduce him to quivering rage and, sometimes, tearful mourning?
How the CQC goes about its business is a massive and controversial topic - and here is the main man to discuss it. Don't dilly-dally; book your ticket now for what will undoubtedly rival any New Year firework display!
Please note: due to the anticipated very high demand for tickets, no refunds can be given for cancallation after January 6th 2017.
