Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund Healthy Ageing Trailblazers £40 million Competition is Now Open!

The session is hosted by Belfast City Council’s Innovation team in partnership with the Knowledge Transfer Network. It is part of a series of regional events being held to provide local partners with the opportunity to hear from Healthy Ageing Challenge leads from UKRI which is investing up to £1.5 million in stage 1 of this 2 stage competition.

The fund aims to encourage businesses and public sector led collaborations, including social enterprises, to develop and demonstrate how products, services and business models which support people as they age can be adopted at scale.

Stage 1 of this competition is now open and provides a grant of up to £100,000 to conduct research and develop a business plan.

In Stage 2, the delivery stage, UKRI will invest up to £36 million. This is to develop and implement products, services or business models, with individual eligible project costs up to £6 million.

The Stage 1 competition closes on 27th November at midday.
