Join us for this Sunday afternoon workshop where we will explore the ways in which we can work WITH our bodies to feel our best. We will be moving through a fun and light hearted detoxifying yoga practice followed by a gut health and optimum nutrition masterclass. The day will be interspersed with meditation, 'mindful moments' and opportunities for group discussion and questions.


Your hosts....


Jess is an Oxfordshire based yoga teacher who practices and teaches both locally and overseas. After completing her teacher training in Mysore, India, she has enjoyed teaching and practicing hatha yoga, flow and vinyasa in and around Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. She has recently returned from a trip to Bali, Nepal and India where she was teaching and learning with group and one to one classes. She was one of the lead residential teachers and assessors for a 200 hour yoga training programme in Nepal. She likes to focus her classes on challenging yet fun sequences that strengthen and energise the body. She says about her practice: "Yoga to me is the freedom from every day life that I cant find elsewhere. By having a constant and evolving practice I can learn more about both the body and mind each time I approach my mat. To be able to share the benefits of this practice with my students is a great privilege."


Susie is a Nutritionist, Psychologist, Counsellor and Health Coach to GB athletes among others. She has practised Functional / Clinical Nutrition for over 25 years in both London and Buckingham. Her passion is helping people to feel great. Being healthy is positive vitality, not just the absence of disease. Susie has written papers on stress and it’s affects on performance. She runs www.serenityescapes.org a retreat company offering immersion in total health.

Nutrition talk and what to expect...


Gut bacteria affects everything from how we feel to what we choose to eat, from energy levels to pain and arthritis. Optimal performance is not just about eating the right foods, it is also our ability to assimilate and absorb nutrients.


At this workshop we will break down what this all really means and discuss how this affects your health.


We will look at:

What causes bloating and how to minimise this.

What is the right diet for you?

Which foods slow the ageing process?

How much fat should I be eating?

What are the major blocks to fat loss?
