Healthy Buildings – BEAMA organised discussion roundtable
Event Information
About this Event
As most of us typically spend 90% of our time inside, it is critical that buildings provide healthy and comfortable living and working conditions. A particular concern is the increasing evidence that poor indoor air quality is having a damaging effect on many people’s health, being responsible for thousands of deaths per year, healthcare costs in the millions and wider economic costs that are even greater.
This expert panel will discuss the current evidence on the causes and impacts of poor indoor air quality, potential technical and political solutions, and a wider view on how we can make our buildings healthier.
Speakers include:
Jade Lewis (Chief Executive of the Sustainable Energy Association)
Dr Marcella Ucci (Associate Professor in Environmental and Healthy Buildings at the Bartlett's UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering, University College London)
Keith Ritchie (Chairman of BEAMA Ventilation and Executive Chairman of Titon)
