We all know that we ought to eat healthily and be good food role models for our kids. However, for many parents juggling the demands of a busy life, making healthy and nutritious food choices can be a struggle. It can be tough to get kids to eat food that is actually good for them and eating commonly becomes a power struggle fuelled by 'If you eat this...then you can have this', but this robs our kids of an opportunity to learn to make their own healthy food choices. They are eating well not because they want to, but because we are making them. A healthy diet is good not
just for the body, but for the mind and leads to better school performance and behavior.
