12.30pm - 1.45pm - Forum action group discussions

Our Forum is currently working in sub-groups to discuss particular topics and plan action around these:

  1. One-size-doesn't-fit-all: improving informed choice
  2. Welfare should be well-fair: welfare rights support

1.45pm - 3.30pm - Transport consultation session!

This will be a special, one-off session to hear YOUR VOICE on local and regional transport. You will get chance to share your views on how West Yorkshire Combined Authority can achieve their transport priorities:

  1. Integrated - Joined up travel, services, timetables, tickets, fares and information.
  2. Reliable and resilient - Well-maintained, punctual, provide a wide range of choices and be able to withstand extreme weather.
  3. Active -Allow everyone to access opportunities for walking, cycling and wheeling to help them live healthier lives.
  4. Inclusive and affordable - Welcoming, accessible for all, remove disadvantage and have affordable fares and tickets
  5. Safe - Reducing crime and ensuring that people feel safe when travelling. Zero fatalities on the West Yorkshire roads.
  6. Zero emission - Provide cleaner, green options for travel, through electrification and alternative fuels.

About the Forum:

The Healthy Minds Forum is a collective voice for positive change to Calderdale's mental health.

The Forum is a friendly and inclusive space for people to come together to explore issues, feedback experiences and take action for positive mental health in Calderdale.

Anyone with an interest in working collectively to explore and tackle issues in mental health is welcome to join us. This includes people with lived experience of mental health struggles, health and social care workers and people from voluntary and community organisations.

The Forum group generally meets once a month, every last Wednesday in Halifax.
