Description

Are you a clinical practitioner, citizen, patient or manager of a service?

If you are, come along and have your say in shaping the future of healthcare in our town.

  • We want to let you know about some of the innovative digital health solutions now available to clinicians and citizens in Darlington.

  • We want your input shaping these new digital services so come and have your say!

What is Healthy New Towns Darlington?

Healthy New Towns is an NHS England sponsored programme which is about building healthy communities and re-thinking how health and care services should be provided around the needs of populations. Darlington is one of 10 sites selected nationally take part in this programme over the next couple of years.

What benefits can digital technology bring to Darlington?

Harnessing the benefits of digital technology offers exciting opportunities to transform care for patients and citizens. Not only can it help manage demand but it can also be a simple way of enabling information to pass from patient to clinician in order to safely monitor patients remotely. This allows patients to still feel connected to clinicians but without having to attend often inconvenient visits. This frees up capacity, gives clinicians more time to spend with the most complex patients and empowers those to take more control over their own care, improving outcomes.

Come and have your say!

Healthy New Towns Darlington is holding an event to showcase some of the ideas that Darlington health and care services can get involved in. From diabetes management to monitoring the health of residents in care homes, come and listen to a diverse range of speakers that offer exciting examples of what can be achieved in Darlington.

We value your feedback so please pass this email onto any clinical/care practitioners, citizens, patients or service managers that you think might be interested in attending.

Lunch will be provided.
