Your Team Cares, So Should You.

Supporting working carers isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s a smart thing to do. 1 in 7 employees are also caring for a loved one or family member, 600 people a day leave the workforce because of their caring role.  That’s at least 219,000 skilled people every year.  It can cost £30,000 to replace an employee when you factor in recruitment, training and lost productivity.

Organisations that recognise and support employees with caring responsibilities see real benefits, including reduced absenteeism, improved staff retention, higher productivity, and better employee wellbeing.

Join us for an informal, practical session about how employers can better support the working carers in their teams — and why it makes business sense to do so.

 In this session, we’ll cover:

The key benefits of supporting working carers at work What our new project involves and how your organisation can get involved Our new tiered support system – flexible options to suit your business The free resources, guidance, and support available to help you take action

Whether you're in HR, leadership, or just looking to make your workplace more inclusive and resilient, this session will give you practical takeaways and new ideas to support your team — and strengthen your business in the process.  Come along, ask questions, and find out how we can help you support the people who are supporting others.
