We are pleased to welcome John Poland, the author of The Vegetative Key to the British Flora A New Approach to Naming British & Irish Vascular Plants Based on Vegetative Character, to speak this evening on the Rare plants of Britain.

Speaker: John Poland is a master of identification and creates keys which are an essential tool for anyone wishing to identify plants. Sharing his depth of knowledge, John has written many identification keys such as The Field Key to Winter Twigs. His day job is in ecological consultancy which combines his passion for the natural world with protecting it for others to enjoy.
