About the Night:
Heard is a space for shared expression. A sit-down event curated by the community for an evening of listening, connecting, and appreciation for artists across disciplines.
Expect soulful DJ sets to open and close the night, a line-up of featured performers, and an open mic segment where emerging voices are welcomed.
We’ll feature:
- Singer-songwriters
- Poets and spoken word artists
- Comedians
- And an open mic space for rising talent
Who can perform:
Femme, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ creatives will be performing. If you’d like to be part of the open mic, please email info@girlsdemclub.com before Monday 2nd September with your name, your medium, and any technical needs. Performers will need to bring tracks via USB or file-sharing and must arrive early to check in.
What to expect:
- R&B, soul, afro and jazz-infused DJ sets
- A pizza menu of Italian and Brazilian fusion
- Time to network and connect before/after the show
- Limited capacity — early ticket booking is advised
- No ticket, no entry - No door admissions either.
