About this Event

Dylan Dunlap

(Singer-Songwriter)

Dylan Dunlap is an internationally recognized singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His love for music evolved at a very young age, performing on the streets of his hometown, Los Angeles. Since then, he has honed his own sound, bridging the gap between pop and indie rock. His powerful live show has been taken on the road, touring extensively through North America and Europe, including opening for Howie Day, Juice, and OneRepublic.

On days he’s not touring, Dylan can be found in LA, Nashville, and NYC, amassing writing and production credits for pop, country, reggae, and hip-hop artists. Music has been a meaningful outlet for Dylan, as he has gone through many struggles of his own and knows the importance of a helping hand when dealing with mental illness. This is why he has rededicated his efforts as a musician to breaking the stigma and raising awareness. In this mission, Dylan received the ‘Fighting Stigma Rising Star’ award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness and has partnered with Global Citizen, Autism Rocks, and various local organizations to continue addressing the importance of mental health.

Wayys

(Indie)

After only a few months together, indie/alt-rock outfit Wayys have already secured support slots with acts such as Jonny Lloyd of Tribes, and headlined O2 Academy 2 in Islington. Combining raw energy, irresistible guitar and vocal hooks, and hints of the psychedelic, the band already have a small army of fans singing along at every show. Recording their debut EP in early December with Jack Longman (producer of the Skints’ latest album), this is definitely one to watch.

Alex Michael

(Singer-Songwriter)

Durham county born and bred singer-songwriter Alex Michael has debuted a stellar new single eariler this year.

Having found previous success under the guise of a different identity, which included air-play on Dermot O’Leary’s radio show, Alex Michael has now put forward ‘Another Love’, solidifying and placing a stamp upon his own sonic identity.

Driven by its hazy soft-rock guitar hooks that melt into each other, ‘Another Love’ has late-night-romance written all over it. Michael’s vocals establish themselves amidst the entity between dream-pop and grungey, indie-rock. His non-invasive, soft vocal qualities allow him to caress and fortify the drifty, sugar-sweet dreaminess of the backing beneath him.

Miles Horn

(Indie/Soul)

Miles Horn plays with a fresh and up to date sound, combining simple dreamy guitar lines with honest and reflective vocals. Yet it is still apparent that Miles's influences date back as far as early rock 'n' roll bands like the 'Stones, with a touch of 60's crackle and soulful storytelling. Having just left university, Miles delves into themes of love, loss and the demons that come with facing the real world and accepting change.
