> What a Hearing Voices Group is and how it can help people who struggle with the voices they hear
> Peer support and creating spaces that foster it (whether we hear voices ourselves or not)
> The understanding and skills necessary to set up and facilitate a Hearing Voices Group
> Considerations when in person or online - facilitating different types of groups
> Navigating common challenges experienced by people who set up and/or facilitate Hearing Voices Groups
> Sustaining Hearing Voices Groups and connecting with support offered by the National Network and Intervoice.
We recognise that online training can both increase the accessibility of training courses and also bring some additional challenges (e.g. screen fatigue). Our trainer will be ensuing the course includes regular screen breaks and interactive elements.

Trainer details:
Fiona works at Mind in Camden as the Project Development and Innovation Lead, working on the Hearing Voices Projects supporting young people, people detained in prisons, forensic settings and immigration removal centres, as well as the London Hearing Voices Network (LHVN). They have studied psychology and philosophy, work with the National Suicide Prevention Alliance as an Influencer, in addition to working as a freelance speaker and trainer. They approach a lot of their work from a lived experience perspective – Fiona has personal experience of many forms of distress, including hearing voices, and uses this in their work to build connections, as well as to challenge the status quo and provide provocations to ways of thinking or working. Fiona is one of our associate trainers.
