This symposium is principally geared for college and university students interested in becoming agents of change, medical professionals, and other community members. We have partnered with TD Canada Trust, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and Fondation Amal to create a platform for professionals to share their work and knowledge to those in our community. The theme “Heart Disease Matters” was chosen to promote awareness for heart disease in general in the hopes of gaging the interest for students to participate in research queries, social activism, and in the fundamental need to propose solutions for our healthcare system.
We are delighted to have invited multiple renowned doctors, student researchers, and other members of the medical community to present their work and their ideas about heart disease. Dividing the symposium into two sections consisting of keynote sessions and networking sessions, we hope to offer an engaging and interactive conference that encourages attendees to walk around and learn more about heart disease on their own.
This symposium is a great way to network with researchers and doctors, learn about heart disease, and explore different internship and work possibilities.
The price covers the price of the venue, food, a welcome package, and exclusive insight on heart disease as well as future work possibilities.
