Heart Opening CACAO CEREMONY

Join me for this beautiful heart opening ceremony where we sit in circle to experience this ancient tradition that connects us to the spirit of Mama Cacao.

Drinking Cacao can have beneficial affect to heart health and boost mood due to the Theobromine within it.

The ceremony focuses on community, self connection and meditation and the cacao helps facilitate this with it’s heart opening properties.

I will start by cooking the cacao in circle as we connect and enjoy each other’s company, we will then sit with a delicious cup of cacao before settling down for a guided mediation of self-connection. There will then be some time set aside at the end for any reflections and journaling.

I make each cup with coconut milk, water and ceremonial grade cacao and I will have various spices and agave syrup for you to add to your cacao to personalise it to suit your taste.

Please bring a yoga mat and any blankets and cushions you feel you might need to create yourself a cosy nest, and of course bring your favourite mug x

If you have never had cacao before, it is the purest form of chocolate and used as a heart opening medicine, however, there are a few things to consider if this is your first time drinking cacao.

Cacao is a vaso dilator with high levels of Theobromine, whilst these are very benifical to the body there are some medications and conditions that do not mix well with cacao in larger doses, so please read the following contraindications before booking your place:

Not suitable for anyone with the following conditions or taking the following medication:

Blood thinning medication

Heart medication

Blood pressure medication

MAOI, SSRI or SNRI medication

Serious heart conditions

Serious brain conditions

Have been told to avoid caffeine or have a caffeine sensitivity

Please let me know if you are pregnant or breast feeding as I will serve you a smaller dose.
