🌟 Join us for HEARTBEAT, our ecstatic dance journey hosted by Sasha and André of Ecstatic Dance Folkestone. As promised, our new monthly FRIDAY gathering includes collaborations and special guests.


🎶 What to Expect

Guidance: Once Sasha has introduced you into the space, Sjoukje will lead us into free-form dance, helping you tune into your heart and the beat.

Live DJ Set: Sink yourself in an uplifting and dynamic mix of world beats, tribal rhythms, and electronic grooves, masterfully curated to guide your journey of expression and release.

Community Connection: Experience the joy of moving alongside a supportive community of like-minded individuals.


✨ The Rhythm

6:45 PM: Doors open. Arrive early to settle in, warm up, and connect with the space.

7:00 PM: Opening Circle with Sjoukje and Sasha. This is a chance to arrive fully and set your intentions.

7:15 PM – 8:30 PM: Ecstatic Dance with DJ André

8:30 PM: Back to stillness and Closing Circle. Reflect, integrate, and share your experience with the group.


We want this to be an accesible event to all :)

So, TICKETS ARE ON A SLIDING SCALE - GENERAL ADMISSION £10 (£5 LOWER INCOME, £15-20 FEELING FLUSH / PAY-IT-FORWARD). Enter your price on the ticket option.


🌀 The Guidelines


Please arrive on time - no entry after 7:00 pm to allow us to all journey together.

No footwear unless absolutely necessary.

No alcohol or drugs allowed.

No phones on the dance floor, and please switch them to silent.

No chatting on the dance floor—this is a space to get out of your mind and into your body.

Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

Dress in whatever way helps you express yourself, but ensure your clothes are comfortable and easy to move in.

Respect others' personal space.

Over 18s only.

We use candles, white sage, and incense during the event. If you are sensitive to scents or have specific needs, please feel free to contact us.

Sjoukje

Sjoukje Gummels is a Shamanic Practitioner and a mother of two who travelled extensively in the fashion industry before moving to the UK in 2000.She works with energy healing disciplines such as Reiki, Regression Therapy and Shamanic Healing.

Sjoukje has trained with world renowned teachers in Shamanism in the West:Sandra Ingerman and Imelda Almqvist.
