Matt’s passion lies in Leadership, Culture and Employee Engagement. His experience as Founder of Quest includes, amongst others working with Aviva, Britvic, Deloitte, ASOS, AIB, Morrisons, Heineken, NHS Trusts, Orange and Vauxhall, to enable inspiring leadership, develop culture and build engagement. It gives him a perspective and skill set in actually building Employee Engagement, group facilitation, leadership coaching and internal communications.
Matt regularly runs coaching workshops for Leaders and Managers to be better communicator’s, to deal effortlessly with change and improve their personal performance.
Outside of work he recently learnt to ski and hasn't looked back! He loves golf and is currently playing from a 10 handicap (for those of you who care!), and spends his weekends watching his 3 sons play football.
Matt is also a trustee for Love146.org - a charity fighting for the end of child slavery and exploitation. He’s proud to say he played a very small part in helping see the Modern Slavery Act become reality.
Dominic has developed and facilitated learning and coaching programmes for a range of organisations including AIB, JustGiving, the Environment Agency, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Lloyds Banking Group, and TeliaSonera.
He has twenty years’ experience as a Senior Consultant specialising in leadership communication, change and engagement, working across sectors. He has also held senior in-house roles, as Director of Communication for Computershare and for Lloyds Bank in training and communication roles.
Dominic has an MA in History from Cambridge University, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and past Chairman and Fellow of professional body the Institute of Internal Communication. He has appeared on TV, radio and in print promoting effective leadership communication.
A new era of the engagement survey is beginning. The traditional annual survey largely fails to engage employees, takes months to process, so is anything but real-time. Thus, by the time the results have been assessed and action plans drawn, the employees’ opinions are obsolete and new issues have arisen.
Companies need a way to measure and capture employee feedback in real-time; providing results instantaneously, allowing them to address issues within the work environment at the right time. And with the influx of younger workers and the proliferation of technology in the workplace, employee engagement surveys need to be easy to use, flexible and transparent.
This session will explore how companies can use Heartbeat, a real-time engagement app from Quest, and will offer case studies of how other organisations are using Heartbeat in order to improve employee engagement.
