Description

Poet, composer and academic Martin Kiszko performs a new set of poems in the setting of Metamorphoses, an exhibition of paintings and assemblages by PJ.Crook.

Known as the ‘UK’s Green Poet’, Kiszko was Poet in Residence for Bristol European Green Capital in 2015. He has a one man show based on his books Green Poems for a Blue Planet and Verse for the Earth which have been performed from Los Angeles to India and Malta to the Edinburgh Fringe. As a film composer, he has over 200 film, TV and concert credits and has released nine albums with Europe’s finest orchestras. Amongst his award winning scores are the BBC’s Realms of the Russian Bear, Dreamworks commissioned by the BBC and Steven Spielberg, and a British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors Composer of the Year Award for his work Inua.

Suitable for ages 14 and upwards.
