What is Heartstart Schools Initiative?A Partnership which empowers schools across all sectors to teach Emergency Life Support Skills ELS to their pupils.

BHF gifts the training equipment and resources

NIAS Community Resuscitation Officers CROs provide training (Initial and annual Updates) and ongoing support to the schools' staff involved.

Schools' staff then train their pupils and others. Thousands of children learn ELS every year

There are approximately 500 schools currently involved

EA has agreed to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the training programme for te schools' staff involved.
