On 20 May 2025, leading heat networks developers are jointly hosting an evening reception as part of UKREiiF 2025 in Leeds, taking place from 7pm until 9:30pm in the Palm Court Room, Queens Hotel. The event, Heat Networks: The UK’s £80bn Growth Opportunity, is sponsored by 1Energy, Bring Energy, Gren Energy, Hemiko, and Triple Point.
As the UK works to deliver its climate targets, district heating offers the least cost route to decarbonising heat and is poised to deliver over £80bn of private investment, creating 290k new jobs by 2050.
Heat networks depend on buy-in from both public and private sector organisations; it is partners like you who make these projects possible in the first place. This reception will bring together guests from across the public sector, investors, developers, and housebuilders to celebrate the achievements of the sector and to highlight the vital role that district heating will play in driving green growth across all parts of the UK. We are also inviting local authorities who have pioneered the UK’s first town- and city-scale heat networks to share their experiences and learnings.
The reception will consist of networking over drinks and canapés from 7pm, followed by several short speeches from senior industry figures and political leaders.
