Heat Transfer: Collage on Cloth
Event Information
About this event
Using heat transfer (disperse) papers is a fun and experimental technique which can produce instant results onto cloth.
Your tutor will guide you step by step through the process and will encourage you to build up collaged layers and patterns using our heat press to create your own designs.
You’ll come away with a variety of different designs onto cloth approximately A3 in size.

Who is the Workshop for?
This course is suitable for adults who are complete beginners or those who wish to refresh their previous skills. Those with an understanding of the process can use the day to develop their skills and gain tutor advice and guidance.
Do I Need to Bring Anything?
Basic materials needed for the day will be provided. This will include a range of colours of heat transfer papers and some small fabric samples to get you started but you are advised to bring along further fabric for printing. Synthetic materials such as polyester work best but you can also achieve some more subtle results onto cotton.
