Description

Looking to start a freelance career in the world of publishing, writing, marketing and all the et ceteras? Heather McDaid is here to help.

Heather is one half of the revolutionary 404 Ink publishing house, where she has published literary magazines and books like Nasty Women. Her freelance career spans co-ordinating literary festivals, coding, editing, marketing and covering live events. She’s won the London Book Fair Trailblazers Award 2017 and was named one of The Drum’s 50 Under 30. In short: McDaid is a freelance guru.

Join Heather in conversation with Beth Cochrane and enjoy not only an illuminating discussion, but also a variety of freshly baked brownies, cakes and cookies. And why not check out Central Library’s literary stock over a warming cuppa while you’re here? Book a free ticket now!
