Heathland, North Downs, & Caves - Tadworth to Reigate walk

From the outskirts of suburban London at Tadworth, this route quickly leaves the urban sprawl behind, opening out onto pretty Banstead Heath and climbing to the top of the North Downs on Colley Hill. Expect some pretty Surrey countryside along the way before reaching Reigate – one of our favourite Surrey towns, with an opportunity to visit Reigate caves (recommended).

Reigate Caves

We will be visiting Barons Cave in Reigate at the end of the walk and you are welcome to join us. This has a fee of Adults £4 (Over 60s £2) and must be booked directly with Reigate caves in advance. We are attending the 3.20pm slot and tickets should be on sale from 17 August.

Please note there are two caves at Reigate and we are booking Barons Cave NOT Tunnel Road Caves, but you are welcome to book either.
