Heatons Heritage Society
Event Information
Description
The Heatons Heritage Society meet around three times a year in the front lounge of the Moor Club in Heaton Moor.
The aims of the group are:
To promote, improve and develop the heritage and conservation of all of the Four Heatons, for the benefit of the community, encouraging involvement, investment and ownership.
To work in partnership with ALL stakeholders to achieve these aims.
To fulfil these aims the group will:
a) Undertake signage projects, conservation, heritage and other activities as they see fit.
b) Encourage partnerships with other like-minded groups to undertake such works.
c) Raise money/funding when necessary including by means of awards, donations, affiliation fees, subscriptions, grants, sponsorship and any other lawful methods, for carrying out the aims of the group.
d) Publicise their activities and achievements.
e) To engage in all such other lawful activities as shall further the aims of the group.
The areas defined as the ‘Four Heatons’, are Heaton Chapel, Heaton Mersey, Heaton Moor and Heaton Norris.
ALL are welcome to attend, it's free. There is also a bar for refreshments.
