Event description

Description

Do you have ancestors that worked for Lloyd's Register? Do you want to know more about their careers and the organisation they worked for but not sure where to begin?

This free, hands on workshop, is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to research your LR family history. We will show you the resources we have available including our 'staff bibles', newsletters and magazines from the twentieth century and how they can be used.

Led by two of our researchers, the workshop will last for an hour and will be followed by an optional, free tour of the building.

There are limited places available so be sure to secure your spot early!

This is the second in a series of four workshops designed to open the Heritage and Education Centre at the Lloyd's Register Foundation.

On the day please arrive at the 71 Fenchurch Street reception, 10 minutes before the session is due to start and ask for the Heritage and Education Centre.

For more information please contact event organiser Charlotte Ward at charlotte.ward@lrfoundation.org.uk
