A change of style for this DRST course in Mid-Devon. The North Somerset style creates a hedge about 1 metre high using stakes on both sides to hold the laid hedge in place.You will learn how to prepare the hedge for laying, how to safely use a billhook and other hedgelaying tools when laying the pleachers (the cut tree stems) and to make the hedge firm with correctly placed stakes. This course is suitable for absolute beginners and those with experience who want to learn another style of hedgelaying.
