Event description

Description

The Old Chalk New Downs Project is running a series of hedgerow survey training workshops in 2019. The aim of the course to take people through a structured approach to carrying out an ecological assessment of a hedgerow. By the end of the course, you will feel confident in identifying some of the more common hedgerow plant species and be able to record other details on the ecology of the hedgerow being surveyed. During 2019 we would like to recruit volunteers to carry out hedgerow surveys at a number of locations across the project area.
