In their latest Binkie & Friends Adventure, Julie McDonald & Anna Emilia bring us Hedgy the hedgehog who is visiting the dentist for the very first time.Thier hope is that after reading the story your child will have a good idea of what a dentist does and what they might expect once they arrive.Includes: a step-by-step guide on how to clean teeth; an award chart with Hedgy stickers; an activity maze to reinforce the five steps to healthy teeth and useful tips for parents/carers too.With thanks to the Oral Health Promotion Team at Sussex NHS Foundation Trust for their advice on current national guidance on toothbrushing (2025).It also supports children with additional needs and those with social or sensory differences, including those who are neurodivergent.
