Held: A Day of Collective Care
Where we gather to give and receive, to be held and to hold.
Join us for a gentle, nourishing day of connection, embodiment, and collective care. Held is a space where we come together to soften, release, and return to ourselves — through touch, movement, stillness, and community.
We’ll explore the art of self-massage and self-holding—tender practices that awaken presence and love for our own bodies. We’ll also enter into the ancient rhythm of connection and collective care, using rebozos (scarves handcrafted in Mexico) to rock, wrap, and soothe one another in a safe and ceremonial space.
This is not a space of performance or perfection—it’s a space of slowing down, of listening, of remembering that we don’t have to carry it all alone.
The day includes:
- Guided self-massage and self-holding
- Partner and group rebozo work (gentle rocking, wrapping, and support)
- Collective care practices rooted in softness, trust, and reciprocity
- A closing circle to ground, integrate, and honour the space
- Tea, cake, and time to simply be
- A shared lunch—everyone is invited to bring something to contribute
