Helen Arney and Marian Call - CHANGE OF LONDON VENUE!
Event Information
Description
!!!!NOTE: CHANGE OF VENUE!!!!
Due to circumstances beyond our control (aren't most circumstances this way...?) we have had to change venues for this show. Any tickets you bought before 31st March are still valid for a seat at the new venue, which is now The Horse And Stables, a gorgeous intimate theatre-style space above a pub in Waterloo: http://thehorseandstables.co.uk
The new venue has fewer actual chairs than the previous place, so we are no longer selling seated tickets - BUT - we do have some very limited standing room for a reduced price. Book in advance below to be sure of a standing place, as we won't be selling tickets on the door!
NB1: If the change of venue means that you can no longer attend the show, you can get a full or partial refund through Eventbrite (and we'll be sorry to miss you!). If you have questions please email marian@mariancall.com as soon as possible to sort things out.
NB2: Tickets are still available for our very final show of the mini-tour at Cambridge Junction on Sunday 3rd April, just 5 minutes walk from Cambridge Station, with special guest slam poet Robin Lamboll if you'd like to join us there instead:

Helen Arney and Marian Call present an evening of original music for those who like their heartfelt songs with a side order of wit -- and comedy songs with a sensitive heart. Don’t miss this very special double bill of geek songstresses from across the globe.
Alaska’s finest (and geekiest) singer-songwriter Marian Call hops over from the North Pole for a rare UK tour, teaming up with Helen Arney, one-third of science comedy phenomenon "Festival of the Spoken Nerd" and comedy club regular. Together they will present a night of eclectic, humorous and heartfelt songs for everyone.
Marian is a seasoned road warrior; she has played her highly unusual songs about love, chemistry, spaceships and avocados in all fifty United States and across nine countries. Combined with Helen's acclaimed solo performance “Voice of an Angle,” this will be a night of acoustic magic you won’t want to miss - art, with a dash of science.
“Marian Call is a word nerd, but has become the preeminent Geek Chanteuse”
Popehat.com
“An all-round smartypants… the confidence and clarity of Arney’s performance is exceptional”
The Telegraph
Families welcome, recommended age 12+
Doors open 7pm, show starts 7.30pm - or a little later if people are still finding the new venue. There's a bar in the room, and fantastic food and drinks are available all night!
