Hellraiser (1987)

Hellraiser is a 1987 British supernatural horror cult classic, written and directed byClive Barker. Based on Barker's 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart.

A mystical puzzle box falls into the hands of those craving more from life, and summons the Cenobites, a group of extra-dimensional, sadamasicistic beings who cannot differentiate between pain and pleasure.

It holds a lot of beautfully detailed practical gore and costumes based off of what Barker experienced in the 80's underground queer scene.
