Overview

Join us to plant Sakura cherry trees celebrating Japanese-UK friendship and cooperation

Join us on February 18th to plant Sakura cherry trees in the lawn in front of Washington Singer! We have been lucky enough to receive these special cherry trees from the Sakura Cherry Tree project, set up to commemorate the 150 years of Japanese and UK friendship and cooperation. We will be planting cherry trees between 13:00 and 15:00 – do feel free to drop in at any time and you don't have to stay for the full 2 hours.

For more informaitn abut the Sakura cherry project check out their webite https://japanuksakura.org/

  • Gardening gloves if you have them (we will supply if you don’t)
