Help Your Child DO Maths Even If You DON'T

As part of Maths Week Wales 2025, welcome to our FREE online event where Rosemary Russell will show you how to support your child with maths, even if you struggle with it yourself! We understand that not everyone is a maths whiz, but that shouldn't stop you from helping your child succeed. Join us for tips. Let's tackle this together!

Dr Rosemary Russell is a maths teacher who took a career break while her children were young and became aware of how concerned parents were about their children’s maths and how little their contribution was understood by schools. Her first book Maths for Parents was published by Piccadilly Press in 1996, which led to an invitation to do the research that culminated in her PhD from the University of Bristol (2002) for her thesis Parents Helping Their Children with Mathematics. Help Your Child DO Maths Even If You DON'T is her latest book.
