Event description
A virtual workshop led by Juliet Landau-Pope for parents of students in school years 10 or 11

About this event

Do you know how to motivate and guide your child as they prepare for GCSE exams?

This is such an uncertain time for students and parents alike. It’s not yet clear exactly how Covid-19 will affect assessments in 2022. But now, more than ever, Year 11 students need to develop study skills to become independent, active learners.

To find out how best to support your child during these testing times, join Juliet Landau-Pope, productivity coach and study skills expert, for this new online workshop. She'll outline strategies and explain how parents can help teens to gear up for GCSEs. Topics include:

* Planning and pacing revision

* Organising resources

* Boosting motivation

* Managing distractions

* Improving memory skills

* Reducing stress and anxiety

There'll also be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.

Places limited and likely to sell out so please book early.

Date: Thurs 30 Sept 2021

Time: 20.00 – 21.30

Price: £20 for one parent/carer or £30 for two parents/carers of the same student
